At M.D.S. Vidya Mandir Inter College, we firmly believe in nurturing academic excellence and holistic development among our students. To encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and competitive spirit, the school has introduced an Olympiad Programme, offering a platform for students to compete at state, national, and international levels.

Objective of Olympiad Participation

1. To identify and nurture talent among students in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, Computer Science, General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning.
2. To encourage competitive learning through structured assessments.
3. To provide students with a platform to compete at inter-school, district, state, national, and international levels.
4. To enhance problem-solving skills, conceptual clarity, and critical thinking.

Types of Olympiads Conducted

1. National Science Olympiad (NSO)
2. International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)
3. English Olympiad (IEO)
4. General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO)
5. Hindi, Sanskrit, and Reasoning Olympiads (where applicable)
6. SOF, SilverZone, Bloom, Hindustan and other recognized Olympiad bodies

Eligibility & Participation

1. Open to students from Classes 1 to 12.
2. Students may register through school for individual or group participation.
3. Interested students are selected based on interest, aptitude, and academic performance.

Mode of Examination

1. Conducted in offline/online mode as per the organizing body.
2. Objective-type questions (MCQs) with a fixed time duration.
3. Exam patterns follow guidelines set by national Olympiad foundations such as SOF, Unified Council, SilverZone, etc.

Preparation & Support

1. Special guidance sessions, practice tests, and study materials are provided.
2. Concept clarity sessions beyond the syllabus are organized by subject teachers.
3. Regular updates on Olympiad schedules and syllabus are communicated to students and parents.

Recognition and Rewards

1. Certificates, medals, trophies, and scholarships for participants and achievers.
2. Top performers are felicitated during the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony.
