Admission Procedures

At M.D.S. Vidya Mandir Inter College, we are committed to offering quality education and fostering holistic development. The admission process is designed to be transparent, fair, and in line with the guidelines set by educational authorities.

1️⃣ Eligibility Criteria

  • Nursery to Class IX: Admission is open to students who have successfully completed the previous class from a recognized school.
  • For Class XI: Admission is granted on the basis of performance in Class X (High School Board Examination). Streams offered: Science,
  • Transfer Cases: Candidates from other recognized institutions may be considered subject to availability and submission of necessary documents.

2️⃣ Admission Process

  • Registration:
    • Parents/guardians must collect and fill out the admission form available from the school office during working hours or download it from the official website (if applicable).
    • A non-refundable registration fee is to be paid at the time of submission of the form.
  • Submission of Application:
    The duly filled application form, along with required documents, must be submitted within the specified time frame. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
  • Entrance Test / Interaction:
    • For classes I and above, an entrance test will be conducted to assess the child’s basic knowledge appropriate to the class applied for.
    • For Nursery and Kindergarten, interaction with the child and parents is conducted.
  • Interview:
    • Shortlisted candidates (along with their parents) may be called for an interaction/interview with the Principal or the admission committee.
  • Selection:
    • The final selection is based on performance in the test/interview, availability of seats, and fulfillment of admission requirements.
  • Fee Payment:
    • On confirmation of admission, parents are required to deposit the admission fee and other dues within the stipulated time to secure the seat.

3️⃣ Documents Required

? The following documents must be submitted at the time of admission:

  • Birth certificate (original and photocopy) for Nursery to Class I.
  • Previous school’s report card / mark sheet.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) with PEN No. & APAAR ID duly countersigned (if applicable).
  • Aadhaar card photocopy of student and parents.
  • 4-4 Passport-size photographs of student and parents (as required).
  • Caste certificate (if applicable).
  • Blood Group Report.

4️⃣ General Guidelines

  • Admission is granted on a first-come-first-served basis and strictly subject to availability of seats.
  • The school reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.
  • All admissions will be provisional until verification of documents.
  • Admission is subject to the approval of the Principal/Admission Committee.
  • Fees once deposited are non-refundable except under special circumstances as per school policy.
  • All admissions will close as per the schedule announced by the school.

WITHDRAWALS AND DISMISSAL RULES FOR STUDENTS

1️⃣ Withdrawal by Parents/Guardians

  • Application for withdrawal must be submitted in writing by the parent/guardian at least one month in advance.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) will be issued only after all dues are cleared and books, library materials, or other school property issued to the student are returned in good condition.
  • Fee Refund: No refund of admission fee or annual charges will be made in case of withdrawal. Tuition fee for the month in which the student leaves will be charged in full.
  • Mid-session withdrawal will be discouraged unless under unavoidable circumstances such as transfer of parent/guardian.
  • The T.C. will be prepared within 7 working days from the date of application.

2️⃣ Automatic Withdrawal

  • If a student remains absent continuously for 15 days without intimation, their name may be struck off the rolls.
  • Re-admission, if granted, will be at the discretion of the Principal and subject to payment of a re-admission fee.

3️⃣ Dismissal Rules

The school reserves the right to dismiss a student on any of the following grounds:

  • Non-payment of dues or repeated default in payment despite reminders.
  • Continuous poor academic performance despite regular support and warnings.
  • Acts of indiscipline, disobedience, or misconduct inside or outside the school that tarnish the image of the institution.
  • Use of unfair means during examinations.
  • Damage to school property or causing harm to other students/staff intentionally.
  • Violation of school rules and regulations despite repeated warnings.

4️⃣ General Provisions

  • The decision of the Principal / School Management in matters of withdrawal or dismissal will be final and binding.
  • In cases of dismissal, no refund of any fees will be made.
  • Parents are requested to maintain respectful communication regarding such matters.

5️⃣ Appeal Process

  • In genuine cases, parents may submit a written appeal to the Management within 7 days of dismissal notice, which will be considered by the Disciplinary Committee.
